Thomas, conductor of the Williams-Bellemont log run, was a Winslow visitor the early part of the week, attending to some personal business. Conductor Kliendinst, togeth er with Brakemen A. E. Jones and William Lavoo, have been assigned to the cinder hauling train on the second district. Governor Joseph H. Kibbey, of Arizona, passed through here ; Sunday on his way home to Phoenix, after a trip east, during which time he had a conference with the President. Conductor H. A. Reifke has been doing duty at Williams the past few days, having been tem porarily assigned to the Wil liams-Flagstaff local for a short time during the absence of Con ductor Ferguson, and later to the Grand Canyon water run. Rev. Robert Wright, pastor of the M. E. Church, received dur ing this week a letter from C. W. Lackey at the Santa Fe hospital in Los Angeles, in which Mr. Lackey says that he is now able to dress himself and sit out in the sunshine and hopes soon to be able to return to Winslow. j Will H. Howard, who has been employed in Winslow by the Holmes Supply Company for some time past, left Thursday for Williams where he goes to work for the same interests, hav ing charge of the store at that ! point. Mrs. Howard will remain in Winslow for the present. Dispatcher R. B. Donaldson, accompanied by his wife and I daughter,returned from Elsinore, I California, Tuesday, where Mr. I Donaldson was compelled to go i some time ago to get the benefit of the springs there on account of a severe attack of rheumatism.
