RESOLUTION NO. 2
WHEREAS, AT A REGULAR MEET ING OP THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WINSLOW, STATE OF ARIZONA, HELD ON THE 15th DAY OF JUNE. 1920. AT WHICH MEETING THERE WAS PRESENT A QUORAM OF SAID COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WINSLOW. A CERTAIN ORDINANCE WAS PASSED CALL ING FOR AN ELECTION TO BE HELD IN TOWN OF WIN SLOW ON THE 24th DAY OF JULY. 1920, TO DETERMINE THE PROPOSITION OF INCURRING THE INDEBTEDNESS OF THE TOWN OF WINSLOW BY THE IS SUANCE OF BONDS IN THE SUM OF THIRTY THOUSAND ($30,000) DOLLARS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING A GAS PLANT TO SUPPLY THE INHABITANTS OF SAID TOWN GAS FOR THE PUR POSE OF LIGHT AND HEAT; THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WINSLOW: That the City Hall in' the town of Winslow is hereby designated and ap pointed by the Common Council as the regular voting place where said election will be held on said 24th day of July, 1920. ] BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: j That the following persons are here- \ by designated and appointed by the ■ Common Council as the officers con- i stituting the Board of Election and < are hereby appointed as such and the 1 Election Board shall consist of one ] Inspector and two Judges, together j with two clerks and one Marshal.
