ANOTHER BIG BOXING BOUT
FOR THIS CITY OCT. 8 Promoter Knowles Is In Phoenix looking over the talent and will re turn to Winslow about the first of the month and make arangements to put on another high class boxing con test here. In all probability the main event Will be between Jack Daley and Bat tling Scoty of Phoenix. Sooty has been cleaning up everything around | Phoenix and the promoters of that 1 city have been trying to match these ’ two classy boys for some time, but it remained for Mr. Knowles to land the - bout for Windlow. Both boys are training hard for the contest and are both confident of winning far inside of ( the ten round limit. Both boys will ( arrive in Winslow about the first and finish their training here. As this j will in all probability be the last bout! to be put on in Winslow until next spring Mr. Knowles is spending every effort to give the fans the best to be had. Besides the ten round main event there will be three good j preliminaries arranged between local boys, and boys wishing to take part in these contests should see Mr. Knowles as soon as he returns. The prices for the high class show will be the same as the Labor Day show.
