KORHAL SCHOOL NOTES Although displaying plenty of fight and determination to run up the ' score, the Kingman five were sub -1 dued in a rather slow but interesting contest by Coach Drake’s ‘ Lumber ; jacks”, last Friday evening, by a | score of 32 to 12. During the first 1 half, Kingman had every little op- j ! porhmity to exhibit their wares, as : : the Lumberjacks were making intel-! ligent use of the five-man defense, j I Kingman’s inability to find the loop j j v hen opportunity favored them kept i ; the tally to IT to 2 at the half-way j i mark. In the second frame, Kingman gra- j ; dually perked up, thereby making the j ; game more interesting. To a certain i extent, the contest was marred by I personal fouls. Kingman, however, ■ carried off honors in this respect. ! Walter Carlson, of Flagstaff, handled j | the game efficiently. The line-up was: Camp. Stevens, i forwards; Hamblin (Captain), center; i Naegle, Fillerup, guards. Flagstaff will see a hot contest to -; when the Lumberjacks tangle j with the Jerome quinces. Jerome al ! ways places high-class aggregations j on the floor, and are usually run ner-ups for high honors during the ! ae.ke.t ball tournament.
