I WILL SHOOT FOR HONORS The best rifle shots in Arizona will compete in the Arizona States Rifle association matches to be held at Ft. Hoachuca May 6 and 7. The program as outlined will be a stiff oce, and wilh the crack shots from Phoenix, Nogales, Douglas and Tombstone, than whom there are none with better records, the teams will have a bard tight for marksmanship su premacy. The Ft. Hoachuca matches are open to all military organizations in the state as well as to all clubs affiliated with the National Rifle association. The reserve officers training corps are also eligible. Two Tucson teams will com pete, and teams of five men each will go from Phoenix, Clifton, Nogales, Tombstone and Doug las. Company E of the 158th infan try will also go from Tucson. The events comprise most of those who shot at the national matches at Camp Perry this summer. It is generally conceded that a particularly bard nut to crack will be the Tombstone club, which took the grand aggregate prizes during the past two years. Pros pec tor.- NOTICE. provisions of law of 1912, title 7, of the Arizona, and Public notice of the time fixed by the Mayor and Common Coun cil of the city of Nogales, Ari zona, for hearing and passing upon the assessment and the proceedings theretofore had and taken for constructing a bridge or cover of re enforced concrete over the entire Arroyo between Grand Avenue and Railroad Boulevard from the north side of Crawford street south to the International line, in the city of Nogales, Arizona. Pursuant to the the improvement being chapter 13, revised statutes of all acts amendatory thereof, pub lie notice is hereby given that the city engineer, acting as su perintendent of streets of the city of Nogales, did on the 20th day of April, 1921, notify the mayor and common council of the assessment warrant for cer tain street work in constructing a bridge or cover of re enforced concrete over the entire Arroyo between Grand avenue and Rail road Boulevard from the north side of Crawford street south to the International line, in the city of Nogales, Arizona, being the work initiated and done by resolution of intention of the mayor and common council of the city of Nogales, under date of the 2nd day of August, 1920, on file with the clerk of said city of Nogales, and performed under contract of date October 5th, 1920, with Lown and Woods, to which resolution and contract reference is hereby made for a more particular description of said work; and that said mayor and common council of the city of Noeales have fixed the time and place for hearing and pass insr UDon the said assessment and proceedings theretofore had and taken at eight p. m., on Monday, the 16th day of May, 1921, at the council cnamoers in the City Hall of the said city of -Nogales. The property assessed to pay for said street improvement is all that certain district situated in the city of Nogales, and more particularly described as follows; to wit: A strip of land twenty-two feet (22 ft.) in width along the eastern side of blocks twelve (12) and thirteen (13), of the city of Notrales, Arizona, being twen ty-two (22) feet in depth of the property facing upon Arroyo Boulevard, between Crawford street and the intersection of Terrace avenue and Arroyo Boulevard (or Railroad avenue as sometimes termed,) together with the triangular strip at the said intersection of said streets also a strip of land fifteen (15 feet in depth along the entire eastern end of lot eight (8,) of block fourteen (14) in said city said strip extending northly from International street, and facing nnon Terrace avenue to the southern line of lot seven (7) in said block fourteen (14;) and also a strip of land, twenty-two (22) feet in deDtb. from the western sidp of the riorht of way of the Southern Pacific railroad ex tending from International street north a distance of seven nun dred and fifty three (753) feet, all as delineated upon the official Bradford map of Nogales, Ari zona; and reference is hereby made to tbe assessment map on file for a more particular de scription, said lots, pieces or parcels of land being numbered thereon consecutively, the area in square feet thereof, and the relative location thereof, to the said improvement, being shown on the diagram for said work and improvement on file in the office of the said superintendent of streets. Any owner, con tractor, or his assigns, or any other person directly interested in the work contracted for, or in the assessment for the expenses of the same, having any objec tion to the assessment, or any of the previous proceedings con nected therewith, or who claims that the work has not been per formed according to the contract in a good and substantial man ner, or making any objections to the corrections or legality of the assessment or prcceedings, may at any time prior to the time fixed for said hearing file a writ ten notice briefly specifying the grounds of his objection. At tbe time fixed for said hearing, or at the time or times not later than ten days thereafter to which such bearing may be postponed, the mayor and common council of the city of .Nogales will hear and pass upon all objections so made and filed. All decisions and determinations of the said mayor and common council upon tbe hearing aforesaid shall be final and conclusive as to all errors, informalities, and irre gularities which the said mayor and common council might have remedied or avoided at any time during the progress of the proceedings. This notice is published in ac cordance with an order of the mayor and common council of the city of Nogales, made on the 20th day of April, A. D , 1921. Dated this 20th day of April, 1921. F. E.
