Four Arrested For Alleged
Registration Fraud
Investigators in the prosecutor’s
office Monday arrested four new
comers ti Detroit, on charges of
attempting to fulsfy election re
cords. They had registered as le
gal voters, as an aid to getting
jobs, It is said.
The four men are Alfred Thomp
son, 25, of 114 Medbury avenue;
Joseph Smith. 1152 St. Joseph; and
Freman Hunt, 21, of 1100 Jos. Cam
pau, and one white man, Lloyd
Turner, 27, of 4717 Brandon ave
nue.
Investigators say the four men
had not resided in Detroit long
enough to be elegible to vote.
