MERCHANTS
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER. 11
1915
The average man earns an average wage has an average family,
who, including himself, are average people has an average balance
in the bank. These average people make up by far the larger per
cent of the residents in this community. All of them are seeking to
steadily accumulate against the "rainy day." You belong to that class
and because you belong to it you are vitally interested in the follow
ing specials which are being offered to you by the Belding merchants.
The merchants, whose advertisements appear on this page, are
average people in our community life. They are interested in seeing
you, as well as themselves, prosper. The only way that either the
merchants or you individually will be permanently bettered is by
co-operation. In the list below you will find twenty-seven distinct art
icles of merchandise of absolute quality which you can buy next
Saturday at a figure that cannot be duplicated in any other city. This
is an invitation to everyone to come to Belding on Saturday and supply
all the wants of the household at a reasonably low price and at the
same time join forces with the local merchants who use their money
and energy in turn to help yourself and family and the whole
community.
Watch this page of specials each week. The articles selling for
special prices will be changed each week.
