BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,
Tat the said sewer to be laid and
cfistructed as aforesaid shall consti
tute and be known as a main or trunk
sewer of said city and the total cost
of making, laying and constructing
the same shall be borne by the city
at large and be paid from the gener
al sewer funds of the said city.
BE TlT "FURTHER RESOLVED,
that the expenses of said public im
provement, to-wit: The laying and
constructing of said main or trunk
sewer will be in excess of the sums
of money that can be raised by the
common council by tax in any one
year under , the provisions of the
charter in said city, and it is there
fore necessary to submit to the elec
tors the proposition-of rising twen-ty-one
thousand dollars ($21,000),
by loan, and issuing the bonds of the
city therefore the said sum of mon
ey when so raised to be credited to
the general swt fund of said city and
to be used to pay the expenses-of
said public improvement, to-wit: the
laying and constructing of a mam or
trunk sewer a aforesaid.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,
That the proposition of raising the
sum of twenty-one thousand dollars
($21 000) by loan nnd issuing the
bonds of the city therefor drawing
interest not to exceed 6 per an
num, end for such a term of years
as to the common council may seem
advisable, and which sums of money
when so voted and raised, to be used
together with other moneys in the
general sewer fund of said' city to
defray the expenses of laying and
constructing a main or trunk sewer
on the north side of Flat river, and
to be laid as follows, to-wit: Com

and to provide for voting upon the
