ants. In this cause it appearing by affidavit
on file that the defendants Thomas G.
Atkinson, Bessie Gleason, Margaret
King, Lucille Atkinson, Henry Atkin
son, Margaret Atkinson and Ella
Laughren are not residents of this
state, but that Thomas G. Atkinson is
a resident of the state of California,
that the defendants Bessie Gleason,
Margaret King, Lucille Atkinson, Mar
garet Atkinson and Henry Atkinson
are residents of the state of Wisconsin
and that the defendant Ella Laughren
is a resident of the state of New Mex
ico. On motion of A. E. Miller and J. E.

It Is Ordered that the appearance of

son, Bessie Gleason, Margaret King,

In the Matter of the Estate of Rob
ert Maxwell, deceased.
On reading and filing the petition of
Susie Shand, duly verified, setting
forth that said Robert Maxwell depart
ed this life on the 26th day of Decem
ber, A. D. 1912, and that said deceased
at the time of his death was seized of
an interest in certain real estate situate
in said state of Michigan, located in said
county of Baraga, and the description
and location whereof are specifically
set forth in said petition; and also set
ting forth and alleging that said peti
tioner is interested in the lands in
..which said Robert Maxwell died seized
of en interest, as a daughter and one
of the heirs at law of said deceased,
and praying that the court determine
and adjudicate who are, or were at the
time of his death, the legal heirs of
said Robert Maxwell, deceased.' and en
titled by the laws o( this state to in
herit the lands of which said deceased
d ed seized, and the share or portion
thereof that each of said heirs was en
titled to at that time, and the right,
title and interest that each of them, or
their heirs or assigns, may now have
therein, pursuant to the statute in such
case made and provided:
Thereupon It Is Ordered that the 16th
day of June, A. D. 1913, at ten o'clock
in the forenoon, be assigned for the
hearing of said petition, and that the
heirs at law of said deceased and all
other persons interested in said estate
are required to appear at a session of
said court, then and there to be holden,
at the Probate Office in the village of
L'Anse in said county, and show cause,
if any there be, why the prayer of said
petitioner should not be granted.
And It Is Further Ordered that said
petitioner give notice to all persons in
terested in said estate of the pendency
of said petition and the hearing there
of, by causing a copy of this order to
be published in The L'Anse Sentinel, a
newspaper, printed, published and cir
culating in said county of Baraga, once
