o The Best National Asset is Character ssys Theodore Roosevelt, and with equal truth and more point it ought to be said that the beat PERSONAL asset is Character. And what makes for character? 1 A A big questions must have a personal application. Character is growth and development coming slowly up to RESPONSIBILITY. And what greater responsibility have you than PROVISION? Pro vision for sickness, for old age, for dependants. It is in honorable provision that the test of character comes. Have YOU made, or are YOU making provision by laying away surplus earnings where they are available for the need and opportun ity? There is no other contentment compared with that of BEING READY. You know what becomes of the bee that doesn't store honey; you know what happened to Jacob's brethren who found no Orn in Egypt. One was driven out and the others became creatures of CHARITY. What about YOU? Are you storing the earnings of health and prosperity in some strong bank, like the FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF HANCOCK where it ii both safe and available? IS THERE CORN IN YOTR EGYPT?
