Rhelms, Aug. 24. A marvelous
prolonged high flight of 18 miles
In a 20-knot breaze by Paulham and
the establishment of a new world's
record for 10 kilometers at the rate
of 46 mlle3 an hoar by Blcrlot were
features of the aerial races today.
Paulham's achievement has made
him the hero of the meeting. After
making two rounds at 2jO feet he
reached a height of batween 400 and
500 feet The biplane struck what
seemed to be a dangerous angle and
swayed in the wind, but each time
righted Itself, Paulham completing
the exploit with wonderful exhibition
of maneuvering. La'.ham put two
