PERSONAL Miss Carrie Danncmao. of Clem, was in town over Sunday. J. F. Reieacher returned from Port land Saturday. Mr. Reisacher and John jr. will ipend some time at the Coast. Andrew Keel and wife, Mr. and Mr. Henry Meel and R. M. Johnson, of Lone Rock, went to l'ortland Tuesdav to visit the Fair. Dr. Mann left Saturday morning to join Mra. Mann and Mr. and Mr. J. A Scott who are enjoying an outing at Bingham Springe. Mra. Ed Merri field, who has been very ill for a week or to la improving and will soon leave for a visit with friend in the Willamette valley. J. Q. Jarvia, who has been taking an outing in the harvest filed at Mayville returned to town Sunday and has taken a position in the Condon Drug Co', store. The statement made in another col nmn that Mrs. Judge Dunn and children would remain in Portland for the Win ter was an error.. They returned from the city Monday evening. A. S. liollen is having a 3C0O gallon tank built at his residence and connect ee with hia well from which he will ir rigate his lawn and supply the boilers at the Condon Flouring Mills. A letter recently received at this of fice from Newton, Kansas, states that Carl Marquardsen, one of the founders of the Condon Milling Co., of this city, died at that place last May, of con sumption.
