CACTIOS TO PARTIES PUSCHASINO

Magnolia IF Jiisfcii
. CINCINNATI, OHIO.
THE UNDERSIGNED, wanufaetorer and s le
proprietor of the above brandof WHISKY,
would respectfully inform his customers and pur
chasers of t his celebrated brand , that there has appe&re'l i u
the Charleston and other Southern markets a counterfeit
of the above Whisky, being a poisonous imitation, branded
similar to his brand; it pases under the name of S. N. Dike's
Magnolia Whisky, Cincinnati, Ohio, and other names simi
lar to S. N. fike. As there is no party in this city of the
name of S. N. Dike, it is intended to impose and deceive
those who would purchase the genuine brand. I make this
statement to put parties on their guard, as there are several
persons in the east and west making an imitation, and
usins my name with a slight alteration. I have analyzed
several samples of this counterfeit brand, and found that it
contains a deadly poison: this fact alone impels me to cau
tion the public, protect those who areliable to be -ecsived,
and prevent the evil results attending the use of this
poisonous Imitation. 1 lso hereby caution the counter
feitersofmy brand that I will prosecute them to the full
extent of the law. The genuine S. N Pike's Magnolia
Whisky is distil el from the best quantities of Rye and
Corn, and is warranted free from any deleterious or obnox
ions compound, it being a pure and healthy beverage.
Many parties have recently commenced making a bran
of Wbikv called Magnolia, but they are an immitatio
of my trade brand, so be careful ar d get the only genuin ;
Magnolia Whisky made in the United states, and distillei
Magnolia Whisky
only by me.

HEAT
RADIATOR.
SIMPLICITY, neatness, utility, comfort, economy and
durability are eomltned in this improvement A single
plate of cast iron of peculiar form, so placed with its low
er edge resting against the back of the fire place, and the
upper resting on the inside of the arch, at an angle formirg
part of the back Use if, without interfering with the fuel.
Appertures are so arranged in the grate as fo ceste a
draft sufficient to correct a smoky chimney, and the inter
mediate bar. are so made that the heat that would other
wise escape by the chimney, is arrested and rrflecied or
thrown back into the room. No alteratiou in the mason
ry of any ordinary fire-place or chimney is necessary. It
can ba pnt up in a few minutes by any person of cou. j ta
sense.
It has been fairly tried before competent witnesses, and
proved successful.
The length of the back of the fire place and the Vreadth
of the Hue at the arch inside, regulate the price. The cost
ts but a trifle.
