Santa with his numerous assistants distributed the Christmas gifts to the awaiting and eager childien. He is very much improved at this writ ing. Mrs. H. P. Pope and daughter Jnunita spent Christmas in Dallas with Mrs. Pope's sister. Mrs. McCullough who has moved from hore about a year ago. and Mr. nnd Mrs. Brannon, and Mr. and Mrs. Varner all from Texas spent the Chnstmas season with their father. Rev. J. W. Gregg, returning Tuesday and taking Mr. Gregg with them for a short visit. Several friends of Ben Risncr's went to Sherman last Sunday to bid him a merry Christmas. Among them were Mr. and Mrs. Pettcy, Mr. and Mrs. McCoy, Judge and Mrs. Murphy and others. They found Ben gaining strength and looking forward to the time when he can be among us again. Mrs. Frazier and Verna, and Mr. and Mrs. Hathcox of Durant spent a few days in Paris with Mrs. Claud Morgan. The pageant "The Nativity" put on by the school last Friday night was well rendered.
