Resolved by the City Council of the Cit/ of Wyandotte, that it is a neces sary public improvement and beneficial to the City of Wyandotte and its iu bal/tants that cement sidewalks be constructed and paved ou both sides of Clintou Street lietween Sixth and Ninth •Streets: and Resolved further, that the City En gineer prepare detailed estimates and also plats and diagrams of the work and of the locality to be so improved and deposit the same with the City Clerk for public examination: and Resolved, further, that the cost there of for the construction of said cement sidewalks shall be defrayed by special assessments upon the lots or parts of lots and parcels of land a fronting and abutting on said improvement except ing the alleys and street intersections the expense of which shall be defrayed from the general fund of said City to be computed on the same basis as the lots and pan-els of land set forth altove and the same portion of Clinton Street is hereby designated and constitutes a Special Assessment District for the purpose of *nld improvement.
