Another 80 miles ot macadam streets and 11.4 miles of maoudaui alleys have been built. Work also included the laying of H 8 miles of curbing and 57 miles of sidewalk A total of 84 miles <rf street drainage sewers with catch Ulsliis, manholes and aigmrteuant work wees oun*t; urted. Five miles of sewers were oonetnict ed in tunnels at a depth of 20 to 3b feet below the mod surface. Wuter •mains completed totaled 35.5 miles. This woik included 140 fire hydrants • uul 50 manholes.
