Is Bride of Batavia Man Margaret Saults, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Saults, formerly of Wyandotte, became the bride of Lieutenant Robert D. Hodgson, Ba tavia, New York, October 27. The ceremony was performed at St. Mary's church, Batavia. Follow ing the ceremony, Mrs. Hodgson accompanied her husband to North Carolina where he is stationed with the Marines at Camp LeJeune. Mrs. Hodges attended Roosevelt high school where she was valedic torian of her class in 1941. She at tended the University of Michigan where she completed her Junior year this summer. Lt. Hodgson is a grad uate of the U. of M. having received his A. B. degree in June. Bruce Royer who celebrated his eighteenth birthday Sunday, a dinner and party were given by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie H. Royer, of Twenty-first street. Pvt. Royer is home on a seven day furlough from the University of Illinois. Attending the dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Oscar, Kathleen Oscar and Raymond and Henry Os car. The table was centered with a birthday cake decorated with a soldier. Mrs. Charles Simms presided over the regular meeting of the Daugh ters of Union Veterans, Elizabeth Aubery Tent number 40, held at the American Legion club house last Thursday. TUESDAY STUDY CLUB Mrs. Ralph Keller, Mrs. George Roberts and Mrs. Herbert Jones are chairmen of the homemaker pro gram for the Tuesday Study club meeting to be held November 7 in the City Hall clubrooms. A similar program was presented by the members last winter and was so well received that the committee decided to give a similar program this year.
