Plan Scout Benefit Party BENEFIT BRIDGE TO AID GIRL SCOUTS Preparations are now under way for a Benefit Bridge party for Wy andotte Girl Scouts, to be held on June 5 at the Episcopal church House at 8 pin. Mrs. Harold Quigley is general chairman of the affair. Mrs. Wilbur Pattison is chairman of the ticket committee and Mrs. Lee McClen ahen is hospitality chairman. The Girl Scouts sponsors invite the parents and all friends of Girl Scouting to come and enjoy an eve ning of cards and refreshments. Tickets are 50 cents. There will be table and door prizes. At the May 16 meeting of the Downriver District committee which met at the city club rooms an announcement of special inter- est to Girl Scouts whose fathers are in the armed service was made. Thiough the generosity of the “Demonian Dental Society" of De troit a number of camperships for any serviceman's daughter who is a registered Scout are offered. This society will pay $lO per week to ward the camp fee. Therefore, any eligible child may go to camp by paying the remaining $6. Leaders having Scouts who are interested please contact Mrs. Barker, camp chairman, or Mrs. C. M. Allen. GIRL SCOUT SPONSORS PLAN DINNER Dowti River Girl Scout sponsors and leaders are having a get-to gether Friday, June 1 at the Wa beek Tea Room.
