If Elmer Hoffheins can get his team together for each game, we believe that Halowax will cop the play-off championship. Last Wednesday night with Flat Pock playing Barney’s Bar a hit down the third base line, a wild throw by the third baseman, and Sam Palamara got hit on the head just over the left ear. Sam is still quite dizzy from the accident and Friday had x-rays taken at the Wy andotte General Hospital. A little harder throw and Sam would be one of the badly hurt ball players. Cecil McGee manager of the lead ing Hoersch Shoe team was the recipient of a beautiful wreath Thursday morning.
