The bride is a graduate of Slo cum-Truax high school and the bridegroom is a graduate of Lin coln high school, Ferndale, Mich igan. He is stationed at Gros.se lie. Sutherby. son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sutherby of Superior street, Trenton. The wedding took piace in Lin coln, Nebraska on June 15. Szydlowski In exercises in Grand Rapids Sunday, August 19, Cecelia M. Szydlowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W T illiam Szydlowski, of 2924 Ninth street, graduated from Mercy Central School of Nursing. The exercises were held at St. Andrews Cathedral in Grand Rapids. Following her gradua tion Miss Szydlowski will spend a month at home. A graduate of Roosevelt high school in 1942. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stuck, of Twenty-second street, Wyandotte, served as best man and matron of honor. Miss Nancy Farmilo of Detroit was bridesmaid. Corporal Robert Vick of Wyandotte seated the guests. A wedding supper was held fol lowing the ceremony at the Vernier Hotel, New Baltimore and on Sat urday a reception was held for 150 guests at Dorn Polski hall. After a short wedding trip, the couple went to Augusta. Georgia, where Corporal Swope is stationed. Gaylord Girl Weds Local Man At High Mass Here ‘ Catherine Brown, Joseph Deichelbohrer Tells Vows at St. Patrick's Saturday At a nuptial high mass at 9 a.m. Saturday, August 18, at St. Patricks church, the marriage of Catherine Helen Brown, daughter of Mrs. Anna Brown of Gaylord, Michigan, and Joseph Vincent Deichelbohrer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Law rence Vincent Deichelbohrer of Superior Blvd., was solem nized in a double ring ceremony. High Mass was served by the bridegroom's brother, the Rev. Brother Fedalis M.M. and James OConnor, Maryknoller, with the Rev. Father C. A. Doherty of St. Patrick’s church officiating at the service. The bride wore a traditional white gown with satin top, long sleeves, and round neck with a chiffon skirt which ended in a short train. Her fingertip veil was gathered under a crown. She carried white tea roses tied with white satin streamers. M. Antoinette Deichelbohrer, sister of bridegroom was maid of honor and wore yellow chiffon, a finger tip veil, and carried yellow tea roses. Mr. Deichelbohrer was attended by his cousin, Lt. Henry Deichel bohrer. The altar was decorated with white gladiolas and special music for the ceremony was provided by John A. Theisen at the organ and his daughters, Ida Mae and Doris. After the wedding a breakfast for 18 guests was held at the Wabeek Tea Room and later in the day friends of the couple gathered at the Deichelbohrer home.
