has come and taken Anderson
Brewer a citizen of Hancock
County. He leaves many friends
to mourn after him.
Mr. Carson Hatfield who has
been visiting home folks, has re
turned to his home in Oklahoma.
Hello soldier boye! I hope to
see you home soon. But there
will many homes that will look
for the coming of th ir dear boy
who can never return because
they have given their lives on the
battlefield and some have gone
down in a watery grave. But
they have died for a good cause.
Cheer up mothers, if yur bov

may see him again where there
will be no more sad partings and
no more tears shad; but there wCI
always be a vacant seat in your
nome. We ought to '.-e thankful
that the boys fought for our free
dom.
