Notice is hereby givsw that on the
30t! day of Jane, 1906, a warrant was
regularly issued by the recorder of
the City of Hool River Bud to me di
rected and delivered and command
ing me to foitbwitb advertise the pro
perty mentioued and described in said
warraut aftaiiiHt which the assessment
for tho coat of const notion of Sec
tion No. 1 of the sewer system of the
City of Hood Kiver was made, and to
' sell said propei ty or such part thereof
as can be sold separately to advantage,
Biitilcieut to pay such delinquent as
sessments, together with interest, costs
and disbursements in the maimer pro
vided by law, and to return the pro
ceeds of suoh sale to the city treas
urer of said Oity ot Hood Kiver.
The following is a list in tabular
form of said delinquent assessments
and describes each assessment which
is delinquent, gives the name of the
person to whom assessed, and the par
ticular desciiptiou of the property as
sessed, and the amount of the assess
ment thereon now due, which are as
follows to wit:
To Wm. Ganger, marshal of the
City of Hood River,
-Sir: In compliance with the re
quirements of Section 58 of the char
ter of the City of Hood River, 1
transmit the following list of the w
sesssments which remain unpaid for
the oonstrucion of Section No. 1 of
the sewor system of the City of Hood
River. The assessment was levied by
Ordinance No. UK!, entitled:
"An ordiuance providing for the
establishing of general sewer district
for the City of Hood River, providing
that the sewer system heretofore es
tablished by Ordinance No. 94 be di
vided into nine sections; and that tbe
general sewer district hereby estab
lished be divided into nine divisions
corresponding with tbe said sections,
providing for tbe construction of 6eo
tion No. 1 of said sewer system; nd
declaring tbe probable cost of con
struction of said Section No. 1 ; defin
ing the property specially benefited
by the construction of said Section
No. 1 levying assessments npon the
property benefited for the costs of
construction of said Seotion No. 1
and requiring houses hereafter con
structed within tbe limits of said gen
eral sewer district to be built upon tbe
street grade, assessing the property
benefited by the construction of said
Seotion No 1. of said sewer system
and directing an entry of snob assess
ment in tbe docket of city liens on
tbe 15th day of December. 1905, and
more than 20 days having elapsed
sinoe the said date of entry, the fol
lowing assessments are delinquent
and the interest from and after tbe
date of tbe delinquency namely ; the
5th day of January, 1900. Tbe fol
lowing list in tabular form is made
up from the docket of oity liens de
scribes eaob assessment which is de
linquent, gives tbe name of tbe per
son to whom assessed, and tbe partic
ular description of tbe property as
sessed, and the amount of the assess
ment thereon now due and is as fol
