Especially dilightful was the work done hy the violinist and the cornet. The cluh is to ha congratulated on the excellence i.f the rendition of its or chestra. Interesting and decidedly funny were the skits and songs: "Mary and Marie," and "A Comedy of Krrors." In the la'tcr, which was Riven hy Miss Towel!, ,iiss Peterson and the male quartet, scei.es were depicted of an enviously popular young lady, who was receiving a number of eailers. The first had come and was engaged in earnest conversation with the fair young lady, when the maid announced the second. The clever girl at once decked (lie first coiner us a hall tree anil greeted the newcomer, who, how ever, was soon forced to make a tahle of himself, when the third suitor was announced. The third lad's wooing was cut short in a moment l.v the en trance of a fourth and the tormer was placed in an ordinary chair with a cov erlet draped over him in imitation of one of those huge ".Sleepy Hollow" places of rest. The last lad to arrive brought the scene to a climax, when lie sat down in the easy chnir. The tahle was overturned, tiie hall tree knocked over and the poor girl driven into hysterica. The quartet marched irom me stage sinning: for you can't give your heart to somehody else and still hold hands with me." II. It. Market Installs Now Machinery.
