They have three sons. I tumid Nickelsen will nraduate next spring from Rush Medical College at Chicanu. Young Mr. Nickelsen voluntered in the medical reserve corps on the declara tion of war. He expects to lie called into active service following his grad uation. The two younger sons, Ted and Ned, are twins, aged four years. While Mr. Nickeslen was elected as an independent, he is a lifelong Ke publican, having heen i hairman of the Hood Kiver County Republican Central committee for the past several years. Capt. Geo. K. Wilbur, whom Mr. Nickelsen succeeds, ilid not tender his resignation in time to permit patty nominations.
