Mr. Dan lei Adams, living near Decatur, Newton County, has sent to our oflice a Turnip, gathered from his patch, which if it be a lair sample of his crop, shows him to under stand well the art of raising this vegetable. It measures in circumference 18$ incbss, and weighs, with the top cut off, a fraction less than four pounds.
