D., that H. R. Tarbell be and is ereby appointed to the office of clerk of courts of Hughes county to fill the unexpired term of Claire E. Besancon. The following resolution was ap proved: Whereas it seems in the judgment if'the board of county commissioners of Hughes county, S. D., to the best interests of said county to issue ne gotiable bonds in the name of said ounty for the sole purpose of funding outstanding bonded indebtedness ex isting against said county that is due and payable. Now be it resolved by the board of county commissioners of Hughes coun ty, S. D„ that negotiable bonds in the mm of Twenty Thousand ($20,000.00) lollars be issued in the name of said Hughes county for the sole purpose of 'unding outstanding bonded imlebted less of said county, existing, due and payable and evidenced by twenty (20) bonds of $1000.00 each of said Hughes county, dated July 2, 1883, due July I, 1903, numbered 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, In, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, !3, 34 and 35 and known as Jail and 3ourt House bonds to be issued in the 3ourt House bonds, the said negoti ibie funding bonds to be issued in the *um of One Thousand (1000) Dollars ^ach. Dated July 6th, 1905, due in twenty years after date with option to •aid county to pay in ten years after late. To draw interest at six (6) per ent per annum payable semi-annually the sixth day of January and July in each year. Be it further resolved that the chair man and clcrk of this Board be and ire hereby authorized and empowered sign, attest and issue said bonds in he name of and on behalf of Hughes county.
