The funeral was held from the residence, 1402 Gratiot street, Saginaw, W. S., on Sunday afternoon, Elder F. Travcr, officiating, and the remains were brought to Yale Monday morning by the sorrowing parents, accompanied by Elder Traver. At tho grave, prayer was offered by Elder Cooper of the M. George Baxter, uncle of John Bax ter, died at the home of the latter in Yale on Thursday, February 27th at the advanced age of 87 years. De ceased had lived here for the past eight years and had been confined to his bed for about two years. The fu neral was held from tho house to the Brockway cemetery where the re mains were interred on Saturday, Elder D. McCall, officiating. All last winter Mr. George A. Mills, of Lebanon, Conn., was badly afflicted with rheumatism. At times it was so severe that lie could not stand up straight, but was drawn over on one side.
