A lady asks us whether etiquette re
quires one to knock at the door of an
editor's sanctum before entering. Wo
hasten to reply. If you are coming to
pay your subscription or bring in a
nice, juicy item ot news, don't stop to
knock, but just walk right in as if you
owned tho place. If, on the other
hand you are out on a collecting tour,
you should make the fact known
through the window, and then knock
nt the door until the editor opens it.
You may sink down from exhaustion
before ho does so, but you will be ad
hering to the printing office etiquette
that is bound to please the average
editor.
Last summer one of our grand-children

on the market for bowel complaints.
Mrs. E. G. Gregory, Frederickstown,
Mo. This certainly is the best medi
cine ever put en the market for dysen

mothers have expressed their sincere
gratitude for the cures it has eifected.

When you call at the office for your
mail and tho postmaster hands it out,
ask him if that is all. If you ask him
for your mail and he tells you there is
none, tell him there ought to be, then
go home and send the rest of the fami
ly around to ask at different times
during the day. Don't bringyour mail
to the postottice until the mail closes,
then sail into the postmaster for not
opening tho mail bag and putting your
letter in. When you want a stamp on
your letter te'l the postmaster to put it
on; if he don't lick it, lick him. In
case you put it on yourself, soak it in
vour mouth iong enough to remove
the mucilage, it will stick then until
dry. Re sure to ask the postmaster to
creoit you with a stamp; if he has any
accommodation about him he will do
it. If you have a box, stand and drum
on it until the postmaster hands you
your mail; it will makohim feel good,
especially if he is waiting on some one
else.
