Under the direction of Miss liaxter some very nice paper pulp maps, illus trative of the physical features of North America have been manufact ured by the pupils of tho eighth grade geography class. The M. A. C. Record this week con tains an interesting account of the life and work of Hon. Edwin Willets, as sistant secretary of agriculture under President Harrison's administration, a former principal of the State Normal school and ex-president of the Agri cultural College. Tho following program has been prepared for Dec. 4, 18: Reading, Samantha Allen, Miss Irving; select reading from W. Carleton, Miss Pearce; biography of Will Carleton, Mr. Wey mouth; a medley, Mr. Smith; current events, Mr. O.itinan; quotations are to be names of favorite poems and quo tations from them; parlimentary drill. One week from next Monday even ing the first entertainment in tho High school course will be given. The teachers have worked hard to get these entertainments Mnd they will feel am ply paid for their efforts if the pupils and patrons of the school will co-operate in making them successful.
