Dawson, father of Wm. Daw son of Sanilac Centre, died at his home in Memphis Thursday evening, July 28, asred 84 years. Mr. Dawson was one of the best known and for many years one of the most influential men in Macomb county. He was supervisor of Grant township, St. Clair county, for eight years and served on the Ma comb county board of supervisors for twenty-three years, and it is claimed he made out more assessment rolls than any other man in the state.
