The above band was engaged to fur nish the music for the 3d of July cele bration at Yale and came eighteen strong, besides bringing with them many of the townspeople to help swell the crowd and enjoy the entertainment furnished by our citizens. Mayville is a hustling town on the Fere Marquette about 50 miles up the line and from the snap and ginger in stilled into the high class of music dis pensed on our streets and at the race track we must say that the citizens of that burg are proud of an organization of this kind. Quite frequently you hear ota bunch ot Tellows getting away from their home town striking out to have a good time by touching up the "booze" too freely. We want to compliment the Mayville band as a whole on being not only good musicians but perfect gentlemen in every sense of the word. 1 hey also present a line appearance on dresa parade, each having a neat uni form.
