The en gine has sufficient power to drive the boat at a speed of about 8 or 10 miles an hour. Dolph will no doubt take a great deal of pleasure out of the little craft during the summer months. The successful candidates from Yale who received third grade certificates are: Elsie Huffman, Lucy Menerey, Nellie Ohmer, Lizzie Shaw, Ueulah Shutt, Leah Todd, Gladys Wallace, Matilda Willey, Mma Williams, Kath em Wixson, Dertha Pohly. Clara Ploeger received a second grade re newal. The newly elected officers of Yale Chapter, No. 04, O. E. S. were installed into ollice at the regular meeting held in Masonic hall Wednesday evening. Drown City lodge conducted the in stallation ceremonies, doing the work in a very commendable manner. A dainty lunch consisting of sandwiches, coffee, salad and ice cream was Berved, after which a program waa furnished by liutton's orchestra, a duett by Mrs. Cochrane and Clifford Hutton. A Jolly good time at dancing finally closed the evening's entertainment. Last Monday afternoon the Yale team crossed bats with Drown City High. The diamond was wet and the pitchers and infielders had trouble con trolling the slippery sphere. Umpire Vincent called the game at the end of the 5th inning. The score at that time was 14 to 8 in favor of Yale. A new date will be arranged in the future and the question of who is the best team will oe settled. Shaw was in the box for Yale and allowed only one hit in the live innings.
