The 1st grade is learning the recita tion of the "March Hird." The 5th grade is studying South America. The school went to the depot TueBday morning to see the soldiers off. We saug "We'll never let the Old Flag fall" and gave the school yell. No chewing gum is allowed on the school ground now. It looks as If some of the 4th grader can beat Borne of the 5th graders at spelling. The Nugent children have returned to school. Mary Dafoe was absent Thursday and Friday. Howard Smith was abBent Thursday and Friday. Genevieve Fletcher fell and sprained ber wrist Thursday, but as it was her left arm she is at school. We all enjoy our new victrola records very much.
