Miss Mnrlo Churchill of New York , whosa
wedding to Harold Daring of London took

clnboiato trousseau. The material of tha
wedding gown , which lilted to perfection ,
was soft Jlth white satin. At the toot of the
skirt , nt Intervals , were Inserted fans ot
shirred and tucltcd chiffon , edged with point
nppllg.no Incc. Across the front of the skirt
thrco frllllngs of this lace alx Inches broad
were festooned and caught at one sldo with
clustered ornngu blossoms. The waist wna
arranged with a lace joke , from which fell a
lace frilling , caught now and ngnm with
sprays of orange blossoms. Below this > eKe
the satin was pulled over to the right side ,
whore It vvaa finished at the girdle with a
stiff whlto satin how The satin sleeves were
liberally tiltnmed with the lace , nnd the
collar was of plaited chiffon. The folds ot
the voluminous tulle \cll , caught to the
colffuro with natural orange blossoms , qulto
enveloped the gown with Its long train , The
brldo held a big bunch of whlto orchids , and
pressed against these wns the point lace
edging of her handkerchief Her ornaments
wore a collarette of dlnmouds and a long
chain of pearls caught up at 0110 filclo of the
\\alst with u big circular ornament of soil *
talro diamonds. Her lingerie cost $8,000.
Every garment Is hand made. It Is all fash
ioned of the sheerest linen and lavishly
trimmed with loal lace embroidery and
masses ot tucks. H ulss peasant women
hnvo been emplojcd for months embroider
ing and tucking tucso garments. Though
the llngcrlo Itself Is of the snowiest white ,
jut the rlbbonn which adorn It are nf every
vivid hue of the rainbow. She has dainty
corset covers bright with cherry bows and
skirts adorned with vivid green anil cerise
bouii tmlto as frequently as with bows ot
dcllcnto lavender and faint blue. Olio of hep
moat cxpcnslvo nightgowns , besides being
lavishly trimmed with real Valeuclonnca
lace , is tnado with 100 tucks , all dona by

waist line that the night robe shows n slight
tendency to fit the figure there. This night *

ribbon bans. Thcro mo also three bows

ono at the throat Besides the tucks on tha
sleeves and near the waist line there Is a
double row of tucks around the tiottoni ot
the gown. Another of Miss Churchill s ro-
mnrkablo nightgowns Is ono which has tha
upper part designed as an exact copy of a
| sailor blouse. The neck Is eut very low
i and the deep collar Is trimmed with rows ot
I Insertion and fastens In front with a bow of
embroidery In place of ribbon. Ono of tha
I corset covers h trimmed with eight cherry
I bows. It has shoulder straps formed of emI -
I broidery beading , through which cherry rfb-
! ban Is run ; tbo ribbons tying In a bow on
the shoulders and In another close to tha
armpits The beading Is edged with a tiny
frill of real lace. This corset cover hai
butterfly tows down tbo front and a bow at
the back of the waist line.
A petticoat among her collection coating
$100 Is trimmed with twelve yards of real
lace and an unusual number of bows of rib
bon and tucks The tucking \ very fine.
The tucks start at the waist band and con
tinue down the skirt for a few Inches Then
they alternate In groups wltli rullles of real
Vulonclenncs lace. An Inrtde frill ot lace U
used at the bottom of the skirt as well at
tbo ono on the outside , which produces a
very full , fluffy effect. Bows add to the
beauty of tbo lace ruffles. On each ruffla
the bows are different In color. On the
lowest ruffle they are pink , then green ,
violet and 'blue ,
Miss Churchill had her roonoeram band
embroidered In white on each one of bet
under garments.
