rattlesnakes- at a den In a bluff on War
creek, - and . this set several to emulating
his example. Toni Texly, a homesteader,
near the den, took up the hunt end In one
dey . kljled thirty-seven snakes loafing
around that vicinity, and a few days later
GJenn Spears . and Fred Erlckson armed
themselves with crowbars and gurs and
begun prying dewn portions of the bluff
and killing the rattlers as they emerged
from their hiding places, with a bag of 120
rattlers for their day's work. They prac
tically demolished the den and did a good
day's work In ridding' that part of the
country of a lot of dangerous reptiles.
