from South Dakota and candidate
t'or re-election, came over from
Sisseton Agency last Saturday by
auto to Browns Valley and by
boat from that place to Diamond
about, thirty of the citizens of
Harmon aud Bryant townships
met the staam-boat, Traverse of
the Lindquist Bros. Line, at the
Valley nad escorted Mr. Burke
here. His reception was most
cordial. After meeting the peo
ple here he was taken by auto to
the head of Lake Traverse and
then back to Diamond when he
was taken by Alfred Towne and
A. W. Lindquist to Sisseton. Mr.
Burke will get a rousing vote
