Theodore Rolleg has returned from overseas and has moved back on the old homestead, with his mother as housekeeper. C. A. Swenson of the Golden Rule has purchased the old Jim Kinkard homestead. He has built a new granary, repaired the house, and cleaned up the yard so it looks invit ing. Mrs. Christine Okerson will leave for Denver, shortly, where she will make her home. Emil and Nils Stenberg and fami lies and Miss Esther Hillberg left in their autos for Portland, Oregon on Monday. Jeanette and Clarice Nergaard are expected back from the Olson's hos pital in Minneapolis this week. Dennis Dempsey has rented the Sateren farm and has moved onto the same with his family. Nils Holmberg bought a garage at Nels Traulson's auction, and has mov ed the same onto his farm for his new Ford. Mrs. McKillop of St. Paul has been here and built an addition and base ment under her house. Last fall ehe built a new barn. Hans T. Olson the renter, now his some comfort. John and Anna Harrington, Clara and Ruth Berge are attending the Sis eeton High School. Grandma McGee came in from Claire City Saturday for a few days visit at the Jim McGee home. Myroii Bassett, teh auto thief who escaped from the Roberts County of ficials alter a hot gun fight southwest of Wilmot some time ago, was cap tured last week in Seattle by Minne apolis detectives. Bassett is charged with stealing an automobile from Gus Larson of Slayton and will also be charged with the murder of Larson, whom he knocked senseless and bound him, leaving him in a corn field near Olivia, Minn., where he was latei found dead.
