Monte Attell, who was relieved of his title of bantam weight champion at Los Angeles on Washington's birthday by little Franklo Conley, returned home today accompanied by his manager, Harry Foley. PURELY ACCIDENTAL ON THE DOG'S PARJ Daniel Webster, Salem's Justice of thepeacersustained a painful ln jury this morning while riding his bicycle down State street, by being thrown to the pavement by a large dog which jumped into the front wheel of the machine. The rider was thrown heavily to the hard pavement which bruised him about the body and several painful cuts were made upon the head.
